Symphony

"Oh I feel your symphony, so strong and so pure. It echoes all through me, I am so sure.
That we were meant to be, sharing this love this share."
Meet Me On the Moon, Phyllis Hyman

October is one of my favorite months of the year.  The crisp air of fall holds a promise of long nights cuddled up with your special someone, watching horror movies, preparing for the chill of winter and the rush of the impending holidays.  It's an amazing time of year.

It's also Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  You'll see plenty of cutesy slogans going around: "Think Pink!", "Save the Tata's",  "Big or Small, Protect Them All",  "Fight for the Girls!".  But one of my all time favorites (obviously as a second life fashion addict) is "Rock Your Rack!"

Rock your Rack is presented by Models Giving Back.  It is annual fundraising event combining the best of SL Music, Art and Fashion to support the work of breast cancer charities and raise awareness for early detection which is critical to a positive outcome for this devastating disease.

Rock Your Rack opens to the public on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 12:00 am SLT and will close at 11:59 pm SLT on Saturday, October 13, 2018.  For a complete listing of events and more details on this year's event, please visit the website:  http://rockyourrack.wordpress.com

  1. Wonderful post! This is what I love about your blog; you actually write posts and don't just throw in a picture and credits (which is so unimpressively lazy and boring). The effort is refreshing and most appreciated.
